7 Reasons You’ll Enjoy this Printable Homeschool Lesson Planner
Here are SEVEN REASONS I know you’ll enjoy this simple, homeschool planner.
1. If you buy it, you get full access to it all future yearly updates! Yep. You read that right. Pay for it once, and get the updated copy each May {or June} for the next school year.
2. Our planner has been approved by homeschooling families, including my own! You’ll have everything you need and nothing you don’t.
I’ve looked through many lesson planners over my years of homeschooling. I didn’t need or want a meal planner. I also didn’t need a seating chart. I just needed a lesson planner, so I finally created my own.
3. You can edit/ type in your own subjects. Type your subjects into the 6 editable fields and they will auto-fill into your entire planner. Woohoo!
4. Our planner is offered in BOTH landscape and portrait orientation! So no matter which one you prefer, you’ll get it when you purchase our planner. {The image above shows the landscape planner, which I prefer.}
5. There’s only a touch of color. Let’s admit it. Color makes things cute. But if I’m going to spend the money/use a lot of my colored ink on “cute,” I’d rather it be on activities for my kids. Not my planner. You can always print in gray scale to opt out of color completely.
6. Three sections are included in our planner:
a- Getting Organized
b- Monthly Calendars & Weekly Planning {Monday-Friday}
c-Planning for Next School Year
a. In the Getting Organized section of our homeschool lesson planner, you’ll find:
- Academic and Character Goals for your family and up to 6 children
- Curriculum Options and Choices for your family and up to 6 children
- Organize and Plan the Year for field trips, read alouds, shopping lists, websites/ passwords, and space for individual months from August through July {Most headings are editable in two of the files.}
- Daily Routines for July-December & January-June
- Keeping Track of Goals & Grades page
- Calendar page for 2022, 2023, and 2024
- Attendance Record page {I’ve had so many comments about how great this page is!}
b. In the Calendar/Planning Pages section, you’ll find:
- A monthly calendar with space to write notes with encouraging homeschool tips – lines have been added to make it easier to write in your items
- Weekly planning pages for each day with 6 EDITABLE subject
c. In the Planning for Next School Year section, you’ll find:
- “A Quick Look Ahead” August & September calendar
- An “Ideas for Next Year” page
- “Next Year by Month” pages for July through June
- Three “Room for Notes” pages
7. Printable tabs can help you easily find things in your planner. Print them off, laminate, and tape right into your planner. These can be found in the “How to” file and are optional {although I don’t recommend leaving them out}.

I love this planner!! It is pretty close to PERFECT! It has everything you would need to homeschool and even gives you space to dream and plan for next year! Lots a room to write! Few wishes for future updates is that it was year round, extra pages for those “big homeschool families (aka me with 5 kiddos), and a few more subject blocks!
