Description
My Homeschool Student Planner for middle schoolers or high schoolers has been expanded to include MORE EDITABLE FIELDS and the option for a completely digital planner using Google Slides!
This homeschool student planner was designed specifically for middle and high school learners who are homeschool and ready to take on more responsibility with their schoolwork/learning. Although it may also work for kids IN school, that was not my intentions of the original design.
In this planner, you’ll find the things you need for your middle or high schoolers without all the extra fluff you don’t need or even use.
Please note: Just like our homeschool lesson planner, this student planner is a digital file. You can:
- Use the newly added Google Slides planner {find links to these in the “How to” file}
- Edit, print, and hole-punch it at home {the cheapest option}
- Edit, print it at home, then take it to a print shop to bind
- Edit, then take it to a copy & print shop – A letter giving you permission to print at a print shop has been included in the “How to” file. Be sure to print it off and take it with you.
You’ll receive TWO DIGITAL FILES when you purchase this student planner:
1- Color PDF, which easily prints to gray scale if selected {portrait orientation}
2- “How to” Prep & Print Guide – containing the link to the digital Google Slides planner

*I will be working to update the planner so that it reflects my website, This Reading Mama, instead of my former site, Alive and Growing at Home.
Homeschool Student Planner {digital and printable options}
The planner is divided into three groups: 1- Planning the Year, 2- Calendar pages {monthly and weekly}, and 3- Next Year/Extra Notes Pages.
1. Planning the Year Pages include:
- Goals for this year – Space to write personal or educational goals + inspiration quotes or Scripture
- Websites & passwords – Keep track of online sites and passwords
- Weekly routines – Jot down what’s expected each day of the week Monday through Friday
- Monthly plans – Jot down monthly events or field trips as you think about the year {now with editable months!}
- Daily routines {for 1st Semester and 2nd Semester} – Nail down a schedule so your learners know what’s expected each day
- Keeping track of grades – for eight subjects included for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters
- Monthly attendance records – Keep track of the days you’ve had school with this simple, yet handy attendance record page {now editable!}
2. Monthly and Weekly Calendar Pages include:
- Editable Large monthly calendars – with plenty of room to write each day + reminders column
- Editable monthly and weekly calendars
- Lined boxes – help make writing easier & legible in the printable planner
- Room for six EDITABLE subject areas* – Ideas might include 1- Math, 2- Language Arts {such as Reading, Vocabulary, Grammar, Spelling}, 3- Writing, 4- History, 5- Science, and 6- Electives
- Room for reminders or extras each week – An entire column devoted to extra space to write each week
3. Next Year and Extra Notes Pages
*To accommodate semester-long courses that some middle school or high schoolers may take {like co-op classes or dual enrollment}, the editable six subject areas will autofill for half of the school year. This means if you type in the editable field boxes in the first six months, they will autofill for the months 1-6. If you type in subjects names in the editable fields in any of the 7-12 months, they will autofill for the last six months of the planner.
