K-1 Summer Learning Games
You’ve heard it said, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Well, I say, “A game a day keeps the summer slide away!” 🙂
Summer slide is a REAL thing. Years ago, I read that learners can forget OVER HALF of what they’ve learned during the school year if they take a complete break from learning. Wow!
But who really wants to do boring workbook pages over the summer? I don’t. That’s why I decided to focus on designing fun K-1 summer learning games to get kids ready for 1st grade.
In this games pack, you’ll find 70+ fun games learners can play to review many of skills they’ve worked so hard to learn all year. Nearly all the games in the pack are mostly NO PREP and single-player, although I would highly encourage parents to play these games with their kiddos.
Another one of the beauties with these games is that nearly all of them can be used multiple times, so you can get several uses out of one printing. Most games have a picture or answer key, so the answers are clear.
The 70+ games include these Kindergarten Skills:
- Fine motor work with mazes
