Description
If you teach learners in any capacity, you know how important phonics and spelling instruction is. One thing that helps learners is to have key words and pictures to go with each phonics or spelling skill (often referred to as phonograms). These visual reminders are especially important for struggling learners.

I recommend posting similar phonics cards together on your wall like we did. This way, they can be used almost like a dictionary. If learners need to spell a word with a long e sound, they can look in that one spot for the different patterns. {These are the medium size cards in the image above.}
The full-page cards are perfect for your wall space, especially if you have a large classroom.
The medium page cards work well in a smaller classroom, at a center, or if you need to display a lot of cards in one space.
The smaller student cards can be made into flashcards and stored in a container. Or you can hole punch them in the top corner and use link together for quick reminders during small group or at-home practice.
